My name is Kristin and I am an amateur photographer who conducts sessions primarily for friends, family, and fun. I studied studio art with a focus on photography at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. One of my favorite classes during my years at Lawrence was my independent study in portrait photography. I focused this independent study on studying the techniques and styles of photographers such as Julia Margaret Cameron, Richard Avedon, and August Sander.

It is with the constant support of my husband, Landon, that I am able to pursue a balance between my full time scientific career and this wonderful artistic hobby.
